They also needed Educational Credential Assessments to confirm their foreign education was relative to the Canadian pattern and work experience in one of the 63 in-demand occupations listed on the government webpage.
Saskatchewan Provincial Nomination Program – Occupations Sub-Classification
The Occupations In-Demand sub-category is a foundational Saskatchewan Provincial Nominee Program (PNP), implying it is open to immigration candidates who do not possess an Express Entry profile.
This sub-category is for profoundly skilled workers with experience in an in-demand occupation in Saskatchewan who do not yet hold a job offer in the region.
Foreign nationals must create an EOI profile through the SINP’s online application system to apply for Canadian immigration through this sub-category.
Saskatchewan’s EOI system enables the province to choose immigration candidates who can grow in the prairie province. Candidates will be assessed on how their education, work experience, language ability, age, and connections to the county demonstrate their ability to settle in Saskatchewan.

Express Entry operates the provisions of applicants for three of Canada’s major economic-class immigration programs: Federal Skilled Trades Program, Federal Skilled Worker Program, as well as Canadian Experience Class/Level.
Candidates with Express Entry profiles need also build EOI profiles for Saskatchewan to be analyzed for an invitation to appeal for a provincial nomination.
